A.K.Khater, CEO, Amrit NCES Ltd & Technical Advisor
AK graduated from Jodhpur University with a BE degree in Electrical Engineering in 1965. From there, he joined Hindustan Steels, a large integrated steel plant and worked as maintenance and utility engineer for 10 years. Then for another 10 years, he worked as a manager of utility department overseeing processes regarding steel, chilled water, hot water, air, compressed air and different gases. During this time, he also led technical collaboration with the Soviet crew both in India and in the Soviet Union. He then moved into biomass processing and densification utilizing his expansive knowledge in material and processes.
He is a pioneer in designing Biomass Processing & Densification system and has 20 years of experience in this field. He is India’s leading expert on biomass to energy conversion and has been associated with various government as well as private “Waste to Energy” Projects. He is also one of the India’s leading authorities on MSW to RDF technology. Currently he is acting as a technical advisor to Jindal Urban Infrastructure for putting up the 20 MW powerplant for NDMC in Delhi, India. He can be reached at akhater@bol.net.in and 91-11-26879395.

S.K.Choraria, Executive Director
SK got his Mechanical Engineering degree in 1988. Since then SK has been working in the filed of biomass densification. He has 20 years of experience in operation, fabrication and installation of biomass processing plants in India as well as Africa. He is also the lead designer of most of our presses and mills. R.C.Choraria, Designer
RC got his mechanical engineering degree in 1955 from Jadhavpur Engineering College. He has since then been designing and fabricating special purpose machines. He is the chief technology provider for machine fabrication for us. RC has been designing and fabricating different prototype equipment for last 50 years. Our leading equipments, the 5 ton/hr pellet press and positive feed 75mm-dia briquetting press have both been designed and engineered by him. Priya Jain, Business Development Manager, Performix Business services LLC
Priya graduated from Metropolitan State University with an MBA in 2000. Since then she has served in various roles in both public and private sector; including research analyst for Dakota Country Solid Waste Management department, Online Ecommerce business owner and MMSDC board member. Priya is the marketing lead for export of plants and equipments to USA. She is currently setting up alliances and partnerships for the proposed 1 billion ton biomass utilization goal set by US Agricultural Department and DOE.
Recently she has been working with Minnesota’s Agricultural Utilization Research Institute (AURI) to get our .5 ton pilot pellet plant tested for corn stalk and other locally available raw material. Since then, she has also been in conversation with pellet manufacturers and ethanol plants to convert biomass/DDG into pellet using this new technology.
